In Holly Graning’s five years on Capitol Hill, she served in various positions with the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Armed Services (HASC). In her most recent role with the HASC, Holly served as Director of Legislative Operations where she was responsible for organizing and coordinating logistics for all legislation handled by the Committee, including subcommittee mark-ups, full committee mark-ups, filing of bills and reports, and floor action. This included coordinating with House leadership, the Committee on Rules, and Member offices regarding legislation to be managed by the Committee and debated on the House floor. In addition to her responsibilities as Director of Legislative Operations, Holly also managed and oversaw all SCI/SAP material held by the Committee and organized and facilitated Member-level classified briefings and meetings. Following her time on Capitol Hill, Holly worked as Government Relations Coordinator for the Hampton Roads Military and Federal Facilities Alliance (HRMFFA). In this capacity she represented the Executive Director and Board of Directors on official visits with local elected officials, military and federal leaders throughout the Hampton Roads region of southeastern Virginia.
Holly graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communications Studies and History; she lives in Bethesda, MD.
