Valerie Baldwin

Valerie Lynn Baldwin, of Baldwin Consulting, Incorporated, was previously Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management and Comptroller. Ms Baldwin was also a member of the Appropriations Committee staff of the United States House of Representatives, serving most recently as the Staff Director of the Military Construction Appropriations Subcommittee. From 1996 until moving to the Military Construction Appropriations Subcommittee in 2001, she was a Staff Assistant on the Veterans Affairs, Housing and Urban Development and Independent Agencies Appropriations Subcommittee. She also served as the Legislative Counsel to the Housing Subcommittee of the Financial Services Committee from 1993 to 1996. Prior to 1993, she served as a Trial Attorney at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and as a Legislative Assistant on the staffs of Senator Nancy Landon Kassebaum and Senator John Glenn.

Ms Baldwin received her juris doctorate degree from the University of Kansas School of Law, her master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, her bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University, and her associate’s degree from Seward County Community College.
